Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale


  1. The client expressly waives their own general terms and conditions of purchase, even if these were drafted after the present Terms and Conditions of Sale. Any deviation from these terms shall only be valid if previously agreed in writing between the parties.
  2. Our invoices are payable within 21 working days, unless otherwise specified on the invoice or the purchase order. In the event of non-payment by the due date, M&F Trading, Lda reserves the right to apply fixed late payment interest of 10% on the outstanding amount. M&F Trading, Lda may suspend the provision of any services or deliveries without prior notice in the event of payment delay.
  3.  If payment remains outstanding for more than sixty (60) days after the due date, M&F Trading, Lda reserves the right to engage a debt collection agency or legal representatives, with all legal and administrative costs to be borne by the client.  
  4. Certain countries apply withholding tax on invoice amounts under their domestic legislation. Any such withholding shall be the sole responsibility of the client and must be settled directly with the relevant tax authorities.
  5. M&F Trading, Lda shall not bear any cost or responsibility arising from the client's local tax laws, and the total invoice amount shall remain payable in full to M&F Trading, Lda. M&F Trading, Lda undertakes to make its best efforts to deliver the agreed goods and services within the specified timelines, but does not assume any obligation of result unless expressly stated in the contract. Under no circumstances shall M&F Trading, Lda be held liable for claims brought by third parties (including end consumers), nor shall it be required to intervene in legal proceedings initiated against the client. 
  6. Any claim regarding the services rendered or goods delivered must be submitted in writing, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, addressed to the registered office of M&F Trading, Lda, within eight (8) days of receipt of the goods or completion of the services. Claims submitted after this period shall be deemed inadmissible. 
  7. All contractual relations shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Mozambique. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Mozambican courts, unless otherwise agreed by arbitration between the parties.
